Again, I’m not saying to lie. I’m saying to stop volunteering information that’s not relevant to your situation. If you’re having symptoms like new onset nonstop vomiting, yes you should let somebody know you smoke. However, this doctor was arguing that my patient’s new onset dizziness and mild headaches were “marijuana withdrawal” and wanted to know why I ordered an MRI when in reality the patient was having a mild stroke that might have been otherwise missed if I wasn’t such a scary tempered know-it-all bitch that ignores attending doctors and does what is best for my patients 207% of the time
